About Us
Clermont OES Chapter is a welcoming, service-minded group of women and men dedicated to helping others and building friendships that last. We support local charities, honor community service, and provide a place to grow in leadership and purpose. While our traditions are historic, our focus is simple: show up, lend a hand, and make Clermont a little brighter.
We are part of the worldwide Order of the Eastern Star under the jurisdiction of the Grand Chapter of Florida. Membership is open to adults who meet eligibility requirements (see “Who Can Join”). Whether you are curious about OES, new to the area, or looking for a way to give back, we would love to meet you.

What are Clermont’s Activities?
Charity: Rest, Sheaf, ESTARL, Service Dogs. Job’s Daughters, DeMolay, Rainbow Girls, Nurses Bags, Wreaths Across America, Paisley Project, etc.
Fellowship: Monthly Family Dinners, Game Night, Project Making, Crafts, etc.

Who Can Join?
- Men who are Master Masons in good standing of a regular Lodge of the Masonic Fraternity.
- Women who are relatives of past or present Master Masons in good standing of a regular Lodge of the Masonic Fraternity. The necessary relationship is by birth, marriage or adoption.
- Women who are majority members of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls® or Job’s Daughters International® or have been active for three (3) years, who have reached the age of 18.
- Women who are at least 18 years of of age who are sponsored by two members, one Sister and one Brother.

What is the Order of the Eastern Star?
A fraternal, service-oriented organization for women and men that promotes charity, friendship, and high moral values through service and fellowship.
Is OES a religion?
No. OES is not a religion and does not replace anyone’s church or faith. Members are simply expected to hold a belief in a Supreme Being, as defined by their own faith tradition.
What do you actually do during the year?
We host service projects, fundraisers, community outreach, social gatherings, and chapter meetings. We focus on practical help for local needs and building strong friendships.
Can the public attend?
Yes for open events like open houses, dinners, and service nights. Regular chapter meetings are for members, but prospective members can arrange a visit and meet us.
Who can join?
Men who are Master Masons in good standing of a regular Lodge of the Masonic Fraternity.

Do you wear special clothing or regalia?
Business casual or business attire is typical for meetings and public events. Day meetings is usual dress and Evening meetngs is usual formal. Officers wear white formal and white dress shoes. Guests do not need special attire.
Do you offer scholarships or charitable help?
Chapters often support local charities and youth initiatives; scholarship availability may vary year to year. Mainly for members of the order family.
How is OES connected to the Masonic family?
OES is part of the Masonic family of organizations. We often collaborate with local Masonic Lodges,DeMolay, Job’s Daughters, and Rainbow for Girls on service and community projects.
I am new to Clermont. Can I transfer my membership?
Yes. Members in good standing from another chapter can affiliate. Contact us for a simple transfer outline.
